KATHMANDU, July 19: Tata Motors has launched its all new bus chassis -- Tata LPO 1618 -- in the Nepali market.
Issuing a statement on Tuesday, Tata Motors informed that the 12-meter bus chassis is powered by a trusted Tata Cummins turbocharged diesel engine, offering 180 HP at 2500 rpm and a strong torque of 675Nm at 1500rpm.
The company further said that the LPO 1618 chassis can accommodate about 45 reclining seats, including sleeper berths, and is fitted with pneumatic suspensions at the rear, for a smooth and comfortable ride.
