MORANG, Sept 20: Rubi Mukhiya, 18, of Sundaraharaincha Municipality-9 has died after jumping from the fourth floor of her house.
Mukhiya was seriously injured when she jumped from a four-storey house at around 8:30 PM on Saturday night. “She was immediately rushed to Nobel Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar for treatment . She breathed her last at around 10 PM,” said DSP Deepak Shrestha.

According to the police, her father was sleeping on the roof and her brother was playing a game on his mobile phone with his friends on the second floor when Mukhiya jumped off from the roof.
According to DSP Shrestha, it is yet to be revealed why the girl jumped from her own house. After the postmortem, the body has been taken away by the family members and further investigation into the incident has been launched.
