BANEPA, August 25: A teenager was killed in a lighting strike at Ghusenishivalaya area at Chaurideurali – 4 here in Kavrepalanchowk district.

15 – year – old Rabin BK was struck by the thunderbolt at his home, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mahendra Marasini of District Police Office, Dhulikhel.
The lightning strikes have caused considerable damages to properties in the Mahabharata rural municipality among other places. In fiscal year 2016/17, two were killed in lighting strikes.
