PANCHTHAR, Sept 4: Three days after a pregnant woman died while undergoing treatment, a version from a health post at Yangwarak rural municipality, that the deceased’s husband is reluctant to accept, conflict has erupted.
The hospital said that Gita Dewan Seling, who had come to deliver her child, was referred to another hospital. It said that Dewan died on her way to the referred hospital.

However, the deceased’s husband and her relatives said that Gita had died while undergoing treatment in the hospital itself. In turn, they are not buying the hospital’s version.
The locals have padlocked the health post blaming it for its carelessness and untimely referring to another hospital.
DSP Narendra Kunwar said that he has not received any First Information Report (FIR) for which postmortem has not been started however, team including rural municipality chief and relatives are trying to solve the problem.
