Things allowed in the current Valley's injunction

A one-week injunction has been extended in the Valley. The chief district officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur have decided to maintain the ban to make things easier. The injunction has been made a little looser than before. The district administration has opened up the following services:

A one-week injunction has been extended in the Valley. The chief district officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur have decided to maintain the ban to make things easier. The injunction has been made a little looser than before. The district administration has opened up the following services:


- Medicines, water and health items are distributed 24 hours a day


- Shop selling food, milk and dairy products, fruits, vegetables, fish and meat (open till 11 am)

- Construction related shop, business and vehicles used for its transportation can be operated from 2 pm to 9 pm.


- Only take away and home delivery services from people with PCR negative should be operated and recorded.


-Online classes will be conducted as per the protocol of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.


- Catering and hotel operation for those living in quarantine and isolation.


- To operate vehicles from the airport to the quarantine, isolation or hotel.


- Industries and factories related to essential services will be operated.


- Banks and financial institutions should make arrangements to provide services through virtual or electronic means as much as possible. If that is not possible, the service should be provided as specified by Nepal Rastra Bank or without increasing the number of employees to one third.


- Passengers, visa and air tickets can be facilitated to go to the airport for those who go abroad by air, but those who come and stay in the valley for this purpose from a place without PCR facility must ensure a safe place in Kathmandu and submit the recommendation of the concerned district administration.


-The district administration has stated that the protocol of the Ministry of Health must be followed while conducting all services and activities. Failure to do so will result in action under the Infectious Diseases Act 2020.
