SOLUKHMBU, Jan 18: At least three persons died and a person got injured in a road accident that occurred at Mahadev cliff along the border of Solu Dudhkunda Municipality and Necha Salyan Rural Municipality.
A truck (Ba 4 Kha 7980) met with the accident at around 11.30PM on Sunday, falling some 300 meters off the cliff. The vehicle was carrying construction materials of the Dudhkoshi Solukhola (86-MW) hydropower project, according to police.
Tractor accident in Gulmi: one dead, two critically injured
The deceased have been identified as Kamal Magar, 33, of Dhading, Ramkumar Magar, 33, of Hetauda, Makwanpur, and Krishna Chaudhary, 19, of Saptari, according to Police Inspector at District Police Office, Solukhumbu, Anil Mabohang.
Ramesh Magar, 27, of Hetauda, who was critically injured in the accident, was taken to the Faplu-based district hospital.
