Three people killed due to wind storm identified

BHARATPUR, May 21: Three people who were killed in accidents triggered by the wind storm in Bharatpur on Friday evening have been identified. Three people, who were traveling in an auto and a van, were killed when a tree fell on them.

BHARATPUR, May 21: Three people who were killed in accidents triggered by the wind storm in Bharatpur on Friday evening have been identified. Three people, who were traveling in an auto and a van, were killed when a tree fell on them. 



One of the deceased has been identified as Maya Gurung, 28, of Gandaki Rural Municipality-6 in Gorkha. She was currently living in Bharatpur Metropolis-7, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.

Gurung was riding the vehicle (Na 2 Ha 2247) when it was hit by a tree at Bhojad Forest area of Bharatpur-11.


Similarly, 48-year-old Loknath Neupane died on the spot when a tree fell on a magic van (Na 1 Ja 6140) at Baseni Chowk in Bharatpur. 


Eleven people were injured in different places in Bharatpur metropolitan city as a result of strong wind. They are undergoing treatment in different medical facilities in Bharatpur
