UDAYAPUR, May 17: Ruslan Three Star Club has advanced into the final of the ongoing fifth Rumpum Udayapur Gold Cup football tournament with a 1-0 win over Jhapa XI in the first semifinal match on Wednesday.

Three Star’s African player Ajayi Martin scored the winner in the 58th minute to give the ‘A’ Division a win and a place in the final. Three Star’s other African player Peter Segun was named the man-of-the-match and was rewarded with Rs 7,000. Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club will take on Sunsari XI in the other last-four match on Thursday.
