Trailer of ‘Matti Mala’ released

Trailer of new Nepali movie ‘Matti Mala’ was released on Wednesday through the official youtube channel of Highlights Nepal. The film features onscreen couple of famous comedy show ‘Meri Bassai’ -- Hanumane (Buddi Tamang) and Mangali (Rajani Gurung) -- as the lead characters. Actor Priyanka Karki appears in a special character. The film is made under the banner of Paurakhi Films Pvt Ltd.

The film is produced by Prithvi Rai and directed by Teke Paurakhi Rai. Actors Prithvi Rai, Shishir Rana, Chiran Rai, Shanghya Shrestha, Tek Raj Langhali, Aruna Karki, Arjun Gurung, Binod Rai, Bikram Lama, and Deepak Acharya have performed in the film.

According to a press statement issued by Paurakhi Films Pvt Ltd on Wednesday, the film has unique flavor of comedy and romance. The film is edited by Anil Kumar Maharjan, whereas the music of the film is given by Suman Rai. Similarly, Sundar Lama, Suman Rai, Babina Kiratee, Sangita Thapa, Amrita Limbu, Anand Rai and Bikram Rai are the playback singers of the film. The story of the film is about a precious metal that can be found inside special mud called matti mala. 


The film will hit the theaters on June 8.
