Tree plantation for safety of public land

TANAHUN, August 29: Tanahun locals organized a tree plantation program with the aim of protecting open public lands at Bhanu Municipality 1, Hattechaur on Monday.

TANAHUN, August 29: Tanahun locals organized a tree plantation program with the aim of protecting open public lands at Bhanu Municipality 1, Hattechaur on Monday. 



The event was organized with the coordination of Public Land Conservation Committee's Coordinator Lal Kumar Shrestha. As many as 150 kinds of tree saplings were planted on the occasion.

Tanahu residents have been actively involved in protecting public lands and creating a greener environment. Talking about the event, former president of Tanahu Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Shantiraman Wagle, shared, "The local community have understood the value of public land and property.


This initiation is highly appreciated and we encourage such activities from the local level.”
