BANKE, Nov 29 : One of the eight police personnel including a Myadi (temporary) police injured in a bomb explosion in Tulsipur, Dang on Tuesday, died today morning, the police said.
The temporary police personnel Binod Chaudhary, 23, of Tulsipur-12 died in the course of treatment at Kohalpur Medical College, said Banke District Police Office Chief Tek Bahadur Tamang. Other injured, of them four are reported in serious condition, are receiving treatment at the hospital, he added.
An improvised explosive device was detonated in the area near the venue for an election campaign attended by many Nepali Congress top leaders including party president and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, injuring the eight police personnel including one Myadi. RSS
