Two accused released, 28 others to remain in custody

KATHMANDU, May 22: The Morang District Court has ordered to keep in custody to 28 individuals accused of 33.5 kg gold smuggling scam on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, May 22: The Morang District Court has ordered to keep 28 individuals in custody who are accused of 33.5 kg gold smuggling scam on Tuesday. 



After recording the statement, the court ordered to release two accused Bishnu Bahadur Khadka on bail of NRS 15, 000 and Ambar Bahadur Thapa in general date.

The case has filed against 63 accused on the charge of gold smuggling case at District Court Morang. Of the total 63,  police have arrested 30. 


The alleged mastermind of the 33.5 kg gold smuggling case Chudamani Upreti aka Gorey has also been arrested on Tuesday from Gaurighat, Kathmandu.
