JHAPA, Oct. 7: A person died on the spot in a road accident along the East-West Highway at Kankai Municipality-3 in Jhapa district this morning.
The District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa, said that the deceased is tractor driver Nabin Miyan, 30, of Jhapa Rural Municipality-4.

Miyan died after a bus (Na 6 Kha 7864) hit his tractor (Me 1 Ta 5109) while the latter was driving to cross the road in Surunga.
Meanwhile, a woman died while five others were injured after an auto-rickshaw met with an accident in Dang district on Friday.
Area Police Office Tulsipur said that seriously injured Shashi Bhusal, 29, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-6 died on the way to hospital.(RSS)
