DANG, April 17: Two people have died in Dang district in a truck collision.
DSP of the District Police Office, Dang, Rajan Gautam said that when a truck (Lu 2 Kha 381) that was going towards Tulsipur from Bhairawa hit a motorcycle (Lu 73 Pa 1162) going in the same direction at a place called Khaira, Ghorahi Sub-metropolis 11, two people on the motorbike were killed.

DSP Gautam informed Republica that 26-year-old Sandesh Basnet of Khaira, Ghorahi-11, and 17-year-old Gopal BK, a resident of the same place, died in the accident.
Motorcyclist Basnet died at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences during treatment while the pillion rider BK died on the spot. According to the police, while overtaking the truck, the motorcycle was hit by the truck.
