Two Indian nationals arrested with weapons in Sarlahi

SARLAHI, March 19:  In Sarlahi, the police shot and arrested two Indian criminals with weapons.

SARLAHI, March 19:  In Sarlahi, the police shot and arrested two Indian criminals with weapons.



The suspects, identified as Jirendra Raut from Motihari, India, and his accomplice Shani Singh, from India were intercepted by the police while they allegedly attempted robbery last night. Upon spotting the police patrol, they attempted to flee, prompting the police to open fire and apprehend them.

During the arrest, Raut sustained an injury to his knee from police gunfire. He is currently receiving treatment at the provincial hospital in Malangwa.


According to the District Police Office Sarlahi, the arrested individuals are wanted in connection with approximately a dozen cases of kidnapping and hostage-taking in India. Further details about the incident will be provided in an upcoming press conference by the District Police Office.
