MAKWANPUR, Nov 10: Two people died on the spot in a truck-bus collision in Makwanpur district.
The truck (registration number Pradesh-2-0301 Kha 5035) hit a passenger bus (Na 7 Kha 876) at Nawalpur of Hetauda last night. The bus was en route to Kathmandu from Janakpur while the truck was coming from the opposite direction when they collided.

The identity of the deceased is yet ascertained and police are carrying out further investigation, Jayashwor Rimal, spokesperson at the District Police Office, said.
Rimal said 15 bus passengers and the truck driver who were injured in the accident are receiving treatment at the Chure Hill Hospital and Cooperative Hospital in Hetauda.
