Two leaders of Biplav group jailed

GAIGHAT, Udayapur, Dec 27: Two district leaders of the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) have been sent to the district prison on Tuesday. They had been remanded in judicial custody on the charge of attempted murder and using explosives.

GAIGHAT, Udayapur, Dec 27: Two district leaders of the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) have been sent to the district prison on Tuesday. They had been remanded in judicial custody on the charge of attempted murder and using explosives.

The party's district secretary Baburam Subedi and member Bal Bahadur Magar have been accused of carrying out bomb blasts in different locations of the district in the lead up to the December 7 election. 


They have been charged of attempt to murder in the bomb blast carried out targeting Nepali Congress House of Representatives candidate Narayan Bahadur Karki and his team in Danuwarebsi of Udayapurgadhi, the District Police Office said. They are being tried at the district court.
