Two more COVID-19 patients die at BPKIHS

DHARAN, Sept 21: Two patients who were undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences breathed their last on Sunday and Monday, according to Dr Nidesh Sapkota, spokesperson for the hospital.

DHARAN, Sept 21: Two patients who were undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences breathed their last on Sunday and Monday, according to Dr Nidesh Sapkota, spokesperson for the hospital.

The deceased include two female patients --- one from Jhapa’s Mechinagar and the other from Sunsari’s Inaruwa municipalities. The 72-year-old woman from Jhapa passed away at 9:20PM on Sunday while the 41-year-old female from Sunsari lost her life to COVID-19 on Monday at 2 AM.


With this, the total number of COVID-19 patients dying in the course of treatment at BPKIHS has reached 30.
