BHAKTAPUR, Feb 2: Police have arrested two people on the charge of raping a minor by taking her to Bandeshwari forest of Nankhel Lakuri Bhanjyang, Bhaktapur Suryabinayak Municipality-9.
According to police, Bhakta Nepali, 21, a resident of Soru Rural Municipality, Mugu, currently residing in Suryabinayak Municiplaity-9, Bhaktapur, has been arrested from Bansbari, Bhaktapur on the charge of raping a 15-year-old minor of Mugu, currently residing in Thankot, Kathmandu on Wednesday at 6PM.
Three students arrested for gang rape
Raju Pandey, information officer of Bhaktapur Police Complex, said that he was arrested "for the crime of rape". Similarly, another man has been arrested for raping another woman in the same forest. Gagan Pariyar,19, of Humla Adanchuli Rural municipality ward no. 3, currently living in Bhaktapur Suryabinayak municipality-9, has been arrested from Bansbari, Bhaktapur on the charge of raping a 20-year-old woman of Mugu, currently residing in Dokecha, Bhaktapur.
According to the police, he was also absconding. Information Officer Raju Pandey said that Gagan Pariyar was arrested by the Bhaktapur police from Jagati and has been kept in the police circle Jagati Bhaktapur for investigation.
