DOLAKHA, Aug 3: At least two persons went missing as landslides buried ten houses in Gaurishanker rural municipality, Dolakha, on Saturday night.
Ward Chairman Jhalak Kumar Karki told Republica Online that local residents Jagat Bahadur Khatri and Nishan Khadka went missing last night after the landslides struck Jugu village.

"A large amount of mud and boulders entered the houses triggered by the overnight spell of heavy rainfall," he said.
Local residents rushed to a safer place after the boulders started entering the village, Karki further said.
The landslides have left at least 21 families stranded at Jhagadedharo area. A passenger bus bound for Jugu has been stranded along the road due to floods in a local rivulet.
