DEUKHURI, Oct 8: Two policemen died in a road accident involving a motorcycle in Deukhuri of Dang. Two policemen working for the Armed Police Force battalion in Bhaluwang died in the accident which took place on the East-West Highway in Musaria of Rapti Rural Municipality-3 on Friday night.
The deceased have been identified as Lahanu Chaudhary of Lamahi Municipality-1 and Sulesh Chaudhary of Rapti Rural Municipality-6. Armed Police Force Superintendent Binod KC shared that Lahanu died on the spot while Sulesh died on the way to hospital.

KC said that they met with an accident while returning to the battalion after completing their duty in rescue operations carried out at various places in Deukhuri following incessant rains and subsequent floods.
