Ugra Karma playing at 25 Hours

Kathmandu-based death metal band Ugra Karma - Himalayan Metal of Death is playing at 25 Hours, Tangalwood, Naxal on Saturday. The band is all set for a gig titled ‘Abominalble Himalayan Invasion.’ Bands such as Binaash, NECK DEEP IN FILTH and Shree 3 are also performing in the gig.

Kathmandu-based death metal band Ugra Karma - Himalayan Metal of Death is playing at 25 Hours, Tangalwood, Naxal on Saturday. The band is all set for a gig titled ‘Abominalble Himalayan Invasion.’ Bands such as Binaash, NECK DEEP IN FILTH and Shree 3 are also performing in the gig.



With this gig, the band is celebrating its 20th year anniversary and is going for a tour in Europe this July. Moreover, the band will also perform their new songs for the anniversary gig.

“Ugra Karma will play 11 new songs during the anniversary gig. Our upcoming album in its entirety,” the band wrote on their official Facebook page with uploading the flyer and a dog’s picture.


The ticket for the gig is priced at Rs 500. The tickets are available at Namaste Coffee, Freak Street and Planet Music, New Baneshwor


Founded in 1999, Ugra Karma has been in the Nepali music scene for two decades now. Their latest record was released in 2015, a vinyl EP titled ‘Mountain Grinders’. Currently, the band comprises Sunil Dev Pant, Prateek Raj Neupane, Bijay Shrestha and Bikram Shrestha.
