UML determined to avoid constitutional crisis-Oli

CHITWAN, Jan 28: CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has said that UML is determined to avoid constitution and political crisis in the country. 



Speaking a press meet organised by Press Chautari Nepal here today, Mr Oli said UML was in the favour holding all three level elections by January next year to stop any constitutional or political crisis.

If elections are not held on time then the tenure of the Legislature-Parliament will come to an end thereby leaving the post of the PM vacant as there will be no member of parliament, he argued. The Nepali people too would not accept if elections are not held on time. 


On a different note, the UML Chair said the constitution amendment proposal was unnecessary, inappropriate and harmful, and not in the interest of the nation. RSS
