KATHMANDU, July 24: CPN-UML lawmaker Lal Babu Pandit has questioned why the government delayed announcing the election date.
“Has the announcement of the election date been delayed because of not receiving blessings from the place where he had gone to seek blessings?” asked Pandit, referring to the recent India visit by Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Pandit asked another question if the government did not want to hold elections to continue the current coalition government forever? Pandit asked the government to give an answer as to why there was a delay in announcing the poll date.
