It is said that Nepali Congress (NC) will join the Bagmati Province Government after the UML leaders' resignation from their ministerial position.

Five political parties including the CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre) had joined the coalition government led by CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Shalikram Jammakattel.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) had already quitted the Jammakattel-led government.

As the RPP and UML withdrew their support to the Jammakattel-led government, Chief Minister Jammakattel is taking a vote of confidence today as per the Article 188 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.
