UML's Shahi wins in Thulibheri, Dolpa

KATHMANDU, May 16: Ganesh Bahadur Shahi of CPN-UML has won the election in the post of mayor in Thulibheri Municipality of Dolpa district. Shahi became the mayor with 1483 votes while Yogendra Bahadur Shahi of RPP became deputy-mayor with 1324 votes.

In Chharka Pangsyung Rural Municipality, independent candidate Temba Gurung won the lection for chairman with 553 votes while UML's Malam Tashi Gurung was already elected unopposed in the vice-chairperson post.
