Unilever provides medical supplies to health ministry

KATHMANDU, July 11: Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) has provided medical supplies to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).



Issuing a press statement, the company said that it activated its global supply chain networks and provided medical and emergency equipment as a donation to MoHP, Government of Nepal, Shri Birendra Hospital (Army) in Chhauni, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and the Hetauda Government Hospital through the CDO Office.

Different Unilever businesses across the globe and Unilever International helped and contributed to arrange oxygen concentrators which were in urgent need.


“Apart from medical equipment, Unilever also contributed substantial funds to set-up an oxygen plant in Makwanpur (Hetauda), required by most critical care patients in case of the COVID infection,” the statement reads.
