ARGHAKHANCHI, Nov 28: The death toll in Arghakhanchi bus accident has climbed to 19, district authorities said here.
Of deceased, 17 died on the spot and two breathed their last while undergoing treatment at Primary Health Center Thada and Chauraha Hospital in Butwal, according to Chief District Office Bijaya Raj Poudel.

The incident happened when a passenger bus met with an accident at Sandhikharcha municipality-6 in Arghakhanchi district on Wednesday afternoon.
The ill-fated Butwal-bound bus (Lu 2 Kha 2148) drove off the highway and plunged 400 meters down into the gorge at the local Narapani area. The bus had departed for Butwal from Sandhikharka at 1:30 pm.
