Vaidya is new president of Nepal Ambulance Service

KATHMANDU, August 26: Nepal Ambulance Service (NAS) got its new president on Thursday. Dr Pradeep Vaidya was declared the new president of NAS. Ranjit Acharya, the former president, passed the baton to Shrestha as he completed his three-year term as president of NAS 102.

KATHMANDU, August 26: Nepal Ambulance Service (NAS) got its new president on Thursday. Dr Pradeep Vaidya was declared the new president of NAS. Ranjit Acharya, the former president, passed the baton to Shrestha as he completed his three-year term as president of NAS 102.



The NAS has collaborated with the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) to create pre-hospital care throughout the nation and a 7-province dispatch center under the number 102.

Speaking at his farewell ceremony, Acharya said he was thankful to everyone who provided their full support to help him lead the organization and he will continue to be an active member of NAS and work to improve the country's emergency health facilities.
