KATHMANDU, July 2: Vatsalya Natural IVF has launched two new testing methods- Hystero- Salpingo-Contrast-Sonography (HyCoSy) and Sperm DNA Fragmentation Index (DFI) for the first time in Nepal.
According to the fertility clinic, the Sperm DFI method can be used to diagnose the extent of damage to DNA levels and to treat and achieve success accordingly. HyCoSy can be used to quickly, swiftly and safely detect the condition of the fallopian tube without radiation.

“Conditions such as ectopic pregnancy, endometrial polyps, submucosal fibroids, synechiae, hydrosalpinges, and abnormal ovaries can be detected and treated, so infertility treatment is more effective,” a statement issued by the clinic quoted fertility specialist Dr Sumi Munakarmi as saying.
