Vice President attends India's Republic Day function

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun attended a reception hosted by Ambassador of India to Nepal, Ranjit Rae, on the occasion of the 68th Republic Day of India, here today.

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun attended a reception hosted by Ambassador of India to Nepal, Ranjit Rae, on the occasion of the 68th Republic Day of India, here Friday. 



Also present on the occasion were members of the Council of Ministers, the former Prime Ministers, lawmakers, the former Vice President, leaders and cadres of various political parties, high-ranking officials in the civil service and the Army, the heads of diplomatic missions, industrialists, businessmen, artists, senior media persons and Indian nationals living in Nepal in course of work.

A variety cultural programme depicting Indian culture was also presented on the occasion. 


Also to mark the occasion, Indian ambassador Rae hoisted the Indian national flag at a ceremony held at the Embassy premises earlier in the morning today. RSS
