KATHMANDU, May 28: Vice President Nand Bahadur Pun, who is currently visiting Austria, attended a special event held to mark the 40th anniversary of the Vienna International Center in Vienna, on Monday.
Addressing the program organized by the United Nations, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said the world body was determined to achieve its goal. He said that the UN will continuously work to make meaningful efforts for world peace. "The UN will effectively continue its efforts to achieve sustainable development goals," the UNSG said.
Forest Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet accompanied the vice president during the function. Meanwhile, Vice president Pun also attended a dinner reception hosted by Austrian Chancellor on Monday night. Pun is scheduled to deliver the statement during the R20 Austrian World Summit today.
