KATHMANDU, July 16: Victims of various cooperatives staged a comprehensive demonstration at Maitighar Mandala demanding the immediate return of their deposit- both principal and interest.

The protestors chanted slogans such as ‘Cooperatives should not cheat’, Give Justice to Civil Cooperative Depositors’. However, during the demonstration, more than eleven people were arrested by the police.
