DHANGADHI, July 3: Vote count has resumed in wards 3 and 17 of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City.



Vote count had been halted in wards 3 and 17 of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City over vote-documentation paper dispute.

After parties demanded vote-documentation paper containing number of votes cast signed by all the concerned stakeholders, vote-count was halted to preempt possible serious conflict.


Chief Returning Officer of Kailali district, ballot papers and vote-documentation paper were sealed in separate sacks as per the agreement among the concerned parties, Dhan Singh Mahara had said.
