KATHMANDU, March 12: Voting for the Chairperson of the National Assembly is going to be held today.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the election of the Speaker will be held at the National Assembly sitting at 11:09 AM.

Yubaraj Sharma and Narayan Dahal have filed their candidatures for the chairmanship. On Monday, Sharma from the Nepali Congress and Dahal from the ruling coalition registered their candidacies.
After the incumbent Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina left completing his tenure on March 3, the election to this post is being held.
