BIRATNAGAR, Nov 5: Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSF-N) Chairman Upendra Yadav on Saturday warned that his party would hit the streets once again if the constitution were not amended as per the demands of the Madhesi and indigenous communities.

“We will launch a decisive protest once again if the government does not take the initiative in amending the constitution to address our demands,” leader Yadav said while talking to journalists at Biratnagar airport this morning.

Earlier, the government had set Chhat festival as the deadline to amend the constitution. It is the fifth deadline set by the government.

Yadav also held that his party would not agree to fix the number and boundaries of provinces through the formation of a federal commission.

“To form a commission to fix the boundaries and number of provinces is nothing more than a ploy of procrastination. We are against it,” said Yadav.
