WEATHER ALERT: Rain, snowfall expected till Friday

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: As the westerly wind is expected to influence Nepal’s weather, rain and snowfall is expected in different parts of the country till Friday.

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: As the westerly wind is expected to influence Nepal’s weather, rain and snowfall is expected in different parts of the country till Friday.  



According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, normal to partial change of weather is expected in Province 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province.

The department has stated that light rainfall is expected in most parts of the hilly areas of the country during day and around night. Light snowfall is also expected in high hilly and mountainous areas.


Certain areas in the Terai region will witness fog in the morning.
