KATHMANDU, May 26: The weather will be cloudy in most of the parts in the country as the cyclone called YAAS in the Bay of Bengal has partially affected the country at the moment.
According to the Meteorological Forecast Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in some places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and a few places in Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province.

There is also a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in some places of the eastern and central high mountainous regions, according to MFD.
The weather is expected to remain generally cloudy in Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.
In its weather bulletin on Wednesday, the MFD has urged people to take precautionary measures as there is a possibility of moderate snow and rain.
