ACHHAM, Sept 20: In a shocking act of brutality, a woman reportedly killed her six months old nephew with acid at Turmakhand Rural Municipality-4 in the district.
On September 18 at around 11 am, Ganga Bayaska returned from feeding fodder to her cattle only to find her sleeping child Muskan screaming with his body parts like mouth and eyes covered in blisters.

Shortly, the child was rushed to the district hospital, Mangalsen for treatment, but to no avail. The child died on Wednesday on the way to Kohalpur Medical College after being referred from the district hospital, said the police.
The report filed by the Bayaska couple (mother Ganga and Mahabir) at the District Police Office named their sister-in-law Janaki as the main culprit. Janaki, who has been arrested acting on the report, confessed to the
