Woman gang-raped; three held

PARSA, July 11: The Parsa Police Tuesday arrested three youths on the charge of gang raping a woman. 



The accused are Taiyab Hussain, 30, Nurul Haqque, 30, and Mahammed Tabrej, 29. They all are from Inarwa of Birgunj Metropolitan City-19. They allegedly raped the 22 year-old woman of Jeetpur, Bara after tempting her to follow them in the name of giving her shelter.

The District Police Office, Parsa presented them before the media amidst a press meet Tuesday. 

The victim, mother of a child, was on the way to India to meet with her husband who has been reportedly serving his time in a prison in India for the past ten months. 


After being freed from the clutches of her 'rapists', Tuesday, a day after the captivity, the woman came into contact with the police and the police succeeded in arresting them on the basis of her report. The accused threatened to kill her son to force her into sexual intercourse. 


The victim is under the protection of DPO's women and children cell and further investigation into the case is underway. RSS
