KATHMANDU, Aug 3: A tragic incident occurred at the Narayani Bridge in Narayanghat on Thursday morning, resulting in the loss of a 45-year-old woman.
The incident took place around 8:30 AM, when the woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, jumped into the river from the bridge.

Although the woman was rescued shortly after the incident, she could not survive. Police said despite their best efforts and immediate medical attention, the woman tragically succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
This is not the first such incident at the Narayani Bridge. On the morning of July 26, another woman jumped from the same bridge. Her dead body was found three days later.
