BHAKTAPUR, Nov 6: A woman's decomposing body has been found inside a jute sack at Bode of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality – 2.
The body of the woman estimated to be around 27 years of age was found at an inner road leading towards a field from a major road linking Bode and Mulpani, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Shyam Babu Oliya, of Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi.
The police suspect that the woman with bruises in her head could have been murdered and dumped in such an isolated location. The woman is not a local and her identity is yet to be ascertained. The case has been handed over to the crime division for further investigation, according to Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi.
The locals informed the police on Saturday after finding a woman's head protruding from the jute sack in the field. RSS
