According to a press statement released by the organizer, ‘Chronicles: 2076’ represents the multitude of time zones, stories behind their origins and their relationship with each other in a globalised world. By emphasizing on the relationship between the events of the past and their repercussions in the present, a space is created to reflect upon the issues that are local-global personal-political and real-fictional.

It added that, this congruence of works fill the gap between the issues of ecology and land, religion and faith, equality and justice, forest and development, emergency and love. It pushes the understanding of the contemporary to a margin where subdued tensions juxtaposed with each other allowing a space to rethink the fundamentals.

A total of five films were screened. There were ‘After Eden’ by Aakriti Chandervanshi; ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ by Satyadeep Singh; ‘Bitter Sugar’ by Rojan Shrestha, ‘To Search the Secret of the Forest’ by Pietro Lo Casto; and ‘On a dark-dark night, I could almost hear her’ by Jatin Gulati.
