World Tourism Day to be celebrated with gusto

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is partnering with various tourism related organizations to celebrate 37th World Tourism Day by organizing various programs throughout the country.

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is partnering with various tourism related organizations to celebrate 37th World Tourism Day by organizing various programs throughout the country.



The 37th World Tourism day is being celebrated on September 27 with a slogan of 'Tourism For All: Promoting Universal Accessibility'.

NTB is partnering with several tourism organizations to make the event successful. The country's tourism fraternity is felicitating the tourists arriving in Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu via the first flight on Tuesday. Similarly, Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) is providing free food and lodging facilities for a day to tourists arriving in Kathmandu on September 27. 



NTB is also organizing various programs outside Kathmandu as well.



Altogether 32 tourism organizations are organizing various programs to promote both domestic and international tourism. 



NTB is awarding five different tourism organizations where people with disabilities are involved. It is also announcing one village as tourism village this year.



Similarly, NTB will organize a rally from on Tuesday to celebrate the day.



Meanwhile, Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN) is organizing 'Heritage Walk with People with Disabiliies' in Kathmandu on Monday.
