GORKHA, Nov 26: Members of Jabari Youth Club, Gorkha took hold of five cadres of Naya Shakti along with 100,000 rupees and handed them to the police. The members had found the money inside a bag of a vehicle Ga 2 Cha 1725 that was traveling from Ajirkot to Bhaluswara.
Bhagwat Dawadi, a local accused Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, candidate for today’s election from the Constituency-2 of Gorkha for buying voters and violating the election’s code of conduct. The youths had confiscated the cadres, money, and vehicle at 1 AM from Siranchok rural municipality-8.
Police arrest one on charge of attacking Naya Shakti cadres
The cadres are currently under the custody of Area Police Office, Jaubari. Apart from the money, election materials, pamphlets, and empty alcohol bottles were also found inside the vehicle.
Those arrested include Dipendra Sunar Dilman Gurung, Ambar Bahadur GurungBharat Kumar Shrestha and Khus Bahadur Thapa.
