Gold price drops by Rs 500 per tola

KATHMANDU, May 26: The price of gold in the domestic market dropped by Rs 500 per tola on Friday.



The price of fine gold has been set at Rs 108,300 per tola today. The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 108,800 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIADA).

Similarlly, the price of standard gold has been fixed at Rs 107,800 per tola. Standard Gold was traded at Rs 108,300 per tola yesterday.


According to FENEGOSIDA, the price of silver has also declined by Rs 5 per tola to become Rs 1,345 per tola today.


The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price in the international market.
