KATHMANDU, Sep 15: The Ministry of Home Affairs has been relocated to the former building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within the Singha Durbar complex, following the complete destruction of its original premises in a fire during the September 9 protests.

Officials confirmed that the original Home Ministry building, now in a dilapidated state, was deemed unfit for continued operation. The old Foreign Ministry building, which had been lying unused, is now being cleaned and equipped to house the Home Ministry.
