CHITWAN, May 3: Police seized a huge cache of hashish from Lions Chowk in Narayangadh today.

Approximately 126 kilograms hashish packed in torn sacks and put in the container of a truck (Na 4 Kha 7630) was being smuggled, said Superintendent of Police Dipak Thapa. The illegal drug was packed in 253 bags and each sack weighs 500 grams.
The vehicle was returning to Chitwan from Kathmandu when it was taken under control. The truck driver Majar Musur and one Ajaya Kumar Raya, who were travelling on the vehicle, were also arrested. Initial investigations said that Musur was settled for Rs 50,000 to transport the illegal drug, Thapa said. RSS
