MORANG, May 7: At least 18 people were injured when a bus overturned at Budhiganga Rural Municipality in Morang along the Koshi Highway on Tuesday.
According to the District Police Office, Morang, the bus (Ba 4 Kha 7450) was traveling from Siraha to Biratnagar when it met with the accident at Budhiganga Rural Municipality -3.
Two killed, five injured in Morang road accident
Suman Neupane, a police inspector at the District Police Office, Morang, said that the accident occurred when a motorcycle (Ko 18 Pa 529) suddenly appeared in front of the bus carrying passengers from Siraha to Biratnagar.
The police immediately sent those injured in the accident to the hospital for treatment.
According to Police Inspector Neupane, 18 people were injured in the accident. The injured are receiving treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital.
Police said that an investigation into the matter is underway.
