The global COVID-19 case tally of Nepalis reaches 110,060 and death toll hits 732



KATHMANDU, Sept 27: As many as 21 Nepali nationals in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Uganda succumbed to COVID-19 in the past one week.

According to the latest data from Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), five Nepalis in Kuwait, 14 in Saudi Arabia and one each in the United Arab Emirates and Uganda succumbed to COVID-19.


So far as many as 265 Nepali people have died of COVID-19 in 17 different countries and 38,848 have contracted the virus in 42 different countries.


As of Saturday, 110,060 Nepalis have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease and the death toll has reached 732.
